ABOUT

Dr. Megan was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelors of science degree in Chemistry and Doctorate in Medicine (MD). She completed Internal Medicine residency and Critical Care Medicine fellowship and is board certified in both specialities.

Her professional passions include mechanical circulatory support, point of care ultrasound, and medical education. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, pilates, and shopping.

The goal of The Intense MD is to provide information about the intensive care unit to the general public. It can be stressful to have a family member in the ICU and it is a whole new world of complex medical care. The information on this site DOES NOT substitute for medical care.
